Construction of Ijegun waterside road in Satellite Town is long overdue. The road is a time bomb waiting to explode. Tanker drivers have taken over the dilapidated road, making it a nightmare for other road users.

Most of these are not "major roads". There're just inner street roads that should have bwen done by the "useless" and "ineffective" LG's and LCDAs.
Anyways, it's a good start for Ambode.

Its a very good development, but strategic places needs to be worked on, not just random roads. Bad roads that cause hold up.

Good move. This should be the priority of any Governor of Lagos state So that South Africans will not mock us for claiming to be the largest Economy in Africa while having poor road network.

Road construction has been the priority of the progreTHIEF administrations of Tinubu/Fashola/Ambode since 2000 yet most of the state roads are in a terrible condition.
For how much longer shall we condone these LOOTERS

23 NOVEMBER 2000

Governor Bola Ahmed Tinubu of Lagos State, yesterday, announced a jumbo budget of N48.915 billion for the 2001 fiscal year. The amount is N6 billion or 1.39 per cent higher than last year's expenditure profile of N42.8 billion.

Road rehabilitation topped the sectoral allocation with the lion share of N4.245, signifying the importance the governor is attaching to road rehabilitation.

Dillion Street is badly and madly demanding to be repaired.
That road takes the stress off Mile2 for commuters easily.

Almost the same amount Fashola used in constructing a less than 3Km
road from Ayobo to Abesan estate gate oooo.

And it was like 5 years to complete with 3/4 different contractors
awarded the same road over and over, again.

Ago palace way road okota phase 2 ongoing has been awarded by the previous government, is just for ambode to finance the completion of the road,though I heard that cccec are abt commencing work,but what tire me is this issue of useless oshodi/isolo forgotten that okota is part of the LGA whenever they are allocating roads or street for reconstruction by state government, but the remember okota in tenement rate,check important roads like community road,century road,cele road,even that road opposite avenue leading to canal estate are all important roads linking so many streets and estates.
