Asian fashion is steadily gaining ground in the world of international fashion. Most of the trends have the ability to transcend markets. And the demand for it is growing exponentially. The international fashion world is finally taking notice of what Asia can offer globally in terms of fashion.

So, if you don’t want to get left behind from the latest global trends, here are some latest Asian fashion trends that are conquering the fashion world.

1. Loose fit

This trend has something to do with the fact that most Asian women are slighter in nature compared to their western counterparts. So, the clothes they wear usually hang over their bodies like sacks. And these loose-fitting clothes create an illusion of volume that is very fashionable and trendy. Slouchy tops are great examples of this.

2. Peter Pan Syndrome

Asian fashion leans towards the cute. Cuteness rather than sophistication is what it’s aiming for. Because cuteness is associated with youth, and most Asians are obsessed with being young. So the clothes usually come with puffy skirts and draping ruffles and in bold and exciting colors and floral prints.

3. Bold, eccentric accents

These unconventional accents are inspired from the different and rich cultures that shape most Asian countries. The print, forms and designs are very unique and very Asian.

4. Vibrant pastels

The fabrics used come in bold and exciting colors. This preference is influenced by the rich and colorful traditions that most Asian countries have.

5. Exotic aesthetics

To achieve this look, the clothes are stylish embellished with gemstones and printed with out-of-this-world prints and designs. These design patterns are usually inspired from the different tribes that still live in many Asian countries.

6. Glitter drape

The traditional little black dress is given a modern twist by draping it with glitter. This design will make you look classy and modern at the same time.

7. Nightgown tops

The traditional nightgowns worn by old Asian folks are given a stylish and modern resurrection. By tapering it and using expensive fabrics like lace, this old-fashion nightgown is taken out from the bedroom to the high streets and has become a favorite top worn by most Asian fashionistas.

8. Sporty cute

This is another trend that is influenced by the propensity of most Asians to cuteness. The traditional masculine-looking sportswear is given a touch of cuteness and has become a RTW staple. You don’t have to play a sport to wear this, because it doesn’t function as one. It’s designed to look like sportswear but it’s suited for the streets.

9. Office chic

Office uniform is no longer exclusive to the confines of the office. By giving it a modern and stylish twist, the usually boring office attire is worn now in the streets and clubs.

10. Beige is the new black

How the boring and unattractive color beige become stylish, only the Asian fashion designers can explain. Now beige is considered modern and stylish, and it functions like the color black.
