News reaching us has confirmed the appointment of a new INEC boss. After an emergency council of state meeting which was held by the President, the appointment was made known to the press, by the Sokoto state Govenor, Aminu Tambuwal. Recall, that the Ekiti state born lawyer, Femi Falana had made it clear that any election conducted by the present composition of the INEC would be declared null and void by any election trubunal. The former, acting chairman, Amina Zakari has been assigned the new role of INEC commissioner representing the Northwest. He also has appointed five new commissioners
