As we move about in life, there are events that occur and experiences that we acquire.
If given the chance, humans would always like to avoid living and/or working in some towns or cities because it is boring there.

But at times, we find our ourselves in locations where, upon looking back, we thank our stars for sending us there at that time.
It could be because you made money, gained plenty of experience, or even averted what could have been a deadly situation.

Life in Mubi in Adamawa State then was not very exciting.
There was no TV, no radio. You had to go to NITEL to make calls and if you were lucky, they got through. You were like cut off from the outside world until you travelled.

I had been in other places before Mubi and I had thoughts of living/working in the big cities until I found myself in Mubi.

Now that I look back, I thank God for sending me there at that particular period.
I keep asking myself what could have happened if I wasn't there when I did.

And why am I saying so?
This is where I met my wife, when she came for her NYSC programme. We are so so happy together with kids.
Sometimes we ask each other whether we could have been married if she weren't posted to my location.
In truth, I really don't know ....
