Okeikpu:
Our problem is that most of our senior team players all ds yrs re U- 40... While their European counterpart r using U- 24.... The day we start fielding younger players like that of U-17 then we certainly got hope of winning d senior world cup. Africans re mumu..!
their problem is not age but refusing to improve their games after under 17 glammour..

the likes of kanu, okocha etc featured in the under 17 and still went ahead to win the olympics..

what happened to mikel and messi? remember both won mvp second and first respectively after under 17 .... while messi improved on his game to become world best player, the other refuses to improve his game and he his rotting away on chelsea's bench.

"We played a big part in this result. In the previous matches we managed to put a high pressure on our rivals, that was key today. We had the possession, but did not do anything with it. Our lines began to separate between each other and with spaces, they are lethal. I hope these kids can take the good things out of these three weeks and improve from there. I know that myself, as a coach, took positive things in spite of today's game," Tony Vidmar, Australia coach.

"It was a very interesting match. We knew that Australia was a good team because they qualified from a very difficult group, but my players were able to recuperate themselves from the loss against Croatia and regained their level. Victor (Osimhen) had a great game, although the philosophy of this team is to play collectively. We are candidates to win the title, but so are Brazil. We will work to put up a good fight," Emmanuel Amuneke, Nigeria coach.

NRIPRIEST:

I wanna know why Amunike is playing Chukwueze on the right flank? That kid is deadlier in the left side and he is a natural lefty. I know Bamgboye is equally a great player but Chukwueze is more calculative and very skillful.

He would be more deadlier if played in the front along with Osimhen.

I'm sorry Sir but did u say Real Madrid??

*smiles*

Oh no..... The other clubs are ok.... But Madrid won't work. Real madrid may have a castilla academy but they don't really go on to be Regulars for Real Madrid's senior team. They don't have a culture of regularly grooming or producing top young talents.

Truth is Real Madrid buys "the best and established" players in the world hence their stars-studded name, "THE GALATICOS".

And uhmm.... Pls take it easy on Chelsea will you? **smiles** I think that's kinda harsh don't u think?.....*smiles*

they do buy younsters for their 1st or second teams. Remember they have team b that plays In the 2nd division. Even in the d 3rd division.

I think many of us are demanding too much of these players. We seem to forget that they are not professional footballers. Besides, what kind of development structures do we have on ground to develop players.
