Why Nollywood Would Never Grow Internationally by Tracy66: 3:53pm On Oct 26, 2015 |
Lol see the harsh post I saw on www.enekem.com Though Nollywood is known in some part of the world , but it is simply known in those parts because some Nigerians or west-Africans inhabit those areas. The white man does not care about Nollywood movies, of course, not when he has access to great Hollywood movies.. The few white races dat know about Nollywood movies is due to influences of knowing perhaps an African person or specifically having Nigerian clicks. Ordinarily Nollywood movies are not appreciated as it ought to be abroad because of the archaic and low-budgeted modes of movie making by Nollywood movie makers. But the funny thing is we Nigerians even seem to enjoy most international movies more than ours, "You see Nollywood movies sucks!! Nigerian youths watch international movies and series by either hollywood or bollywood because they r thrilling, action packed and they have sensible story line and please let's not talk about the gadgets and props they make use of, it "Dope as F**!. Too bad the same cannot be said for Nollywood movie because first of all their story line is not only uni- directional but also basic and not well staged.
