The new Motorola Droid Turbo 2 released yesterday and would be launched October 29 comes with a new feature which the company's president calls 'Moto ShatterShield'. And like the Motorola Droid Maxx 2 that was released same day and time, the Turbo 2 is Verizon exclusive.

Explaining what the 'Moto ShatterShield' means the company President explains that the SUPER-AMOLED capacitive display of the Droid Turbo 2 has 3 layers. And they are the Dual Touch layer, Interior Layer and the Exterior Layer. These layer makes it possible for the device to withstand drops. It took the company 3 years to design this feature.

That said, lets have an overview of the Droid Turbo 2. It comes with a 5.inch Quad HD Amoled display that gives you 4 years Anti scratch warranty. It has a snapdragon 810 processor, with internal memory variants of 32GB and 64GB.

Talking camera specs, it has a back camera of 21MP, and a front camera of 8MP. Both cameras are in high definition.

It also comes with the Android version 5.1 Lollipop and sure would get its over the air upgrade to v6.0 Marshmallow soon. As for connectivity, it has all the necessary type, namely Wi-Fi, Hotspot, Bluetooth and NFC.

A 48-hours long battery powers this device. With a capacity of 3,760mAh, Motorola guarantee two days of talk time when fully charged.
