Can You Solve This Interesting Math Puzzle? by Ade5(m): 11:44am On Oct 29, 2015
Basically, the idea is to make three of any number from 0-9 equal 6 using mathematical functions.

So you have

0 0 0 = 6
1 1 1 = 6
2 2 2 = 6
3 3 3 = 6
4 4 4 = 6
5 5 5 = 6
6 6 6 = 6
7 7 7 = 6
8 8 8 = 6
9 9 9 = 6

An example is 6+6-6 = 6.

The caveat is : No functions with numbers. For example, no squares, no raising any number to any power, no cube roots, etc.

You can't use the not equal sign lol (all you cunning people out there)

You can't add extra numbers. e.g, you have to make 1 1 1 = 6 without including any other number.

You're supposed to us mathematical functions to make three of any number from 0 - 9 = 6

Like the example I gave, 6+6-6 =6.

Do the for the others. 0 (insert function) 0 (insert function) 0 (insert function) = 6. You get?
Re: Can You Solve This Interesting Math Puzzle? by tolustx(m): 1:51pm On Oct 29, 2015
6+6-6=6
2+2+2=6
3x3-3=6
5÷5+5=6

That is all I can think of.

Wait for me. I dey come...

You're missing the point. The idea is for you to use the same number three times to arrive at 6.

Not bad, I'm leaving the puzzle open for a while to see if anybody solves the entire thing. I'll post the full answer if no one does.

Okay, one hint, square roots.

4 + 4/root(4) = 6

9 - 9/root(9) = 6

(8 squared - cuberoot cool mod 8 =

(64 - 2) mod 8 =

62 mod 8 = 6.

And that's all I have to say about that.

[1+(log10)]+[1+(log10)]+[1+(log10)]=6
is this allowed?

No cube roots allowed lol, it's a function that requires you to write another number

Hmmm...this is darn tough but solvable nevertheless. Almost squealed with joy when the factorial sign (!) came to mind. It made everything easy.

(0! + 0! + 0!)! = 6
Factorial of any number = 1.
So 0! + 0! + 0! = 1 + 1 + 1 = 3.
3! = 3 x 2 x 1 = 6

(1! + 1! + 1!)! = 6
1! + 1! + 1! = 1 + 1 + 1 = 3
3! = 6

2 + 2 +2 = 6

3 x 3 - 3 = 6

Root4 + Root4 + Root4 = 6

Hope d root sign is allowed?

5 + 5 ÷ 5 = 6

6 + 6 - 6 = 6

7 - 7 ÷ 7 = 6

[Root(8 + 8over8)]! = 6
8 + 8/8 = 9
Root9 = 3
3! = 6

(Root9 x 9/9)! = 6
Root9 = 3
9/9 = 1
3 x 1 = 3
3! = 6

Oya OP how much u go pay me, I don dey get headache
