BIAFRA : ITSEKIRI YOUTH WING DISSOCIATES ITSELF FROM A STATEMENT FROM “ITSEKIRI LEADERS OF THOUGHT”
Pa Johnson did not talk in interest of ITSEKIRI people but on his own suspicious accord — IPOB ITSEKIRI YOUTH WING.
We are Biafrans and wish to state categorically that we are aware of the restoration of Biafra which we the people of Itsekiri maximally support. Northern people of Arewa support Boko haram how much more we supporting a lawful agitation by our people to be free, since after the war, Itsekiri were made slaves, marginalized and subjugated and hence Pa Johnson gave us no reason no conviction to abandon our quest for freedom we state as follows.
Pa Johnson did not talk in interest of Itsekiri people but on his own suspicious accord. We suffer the same fate as our Igbo speaking Biafrans where few people said to be leaders conspire with power against the wish of the people, they have turned from peoples’ leader to political jobbers who fights for their interest than the interest of the people. We the Itsekiri people are marginalized and treated as second class citizens who have not been addressed; we have no future, hope or stake in Nigeria and so discredit and reject the anti-people statement by Pa Johnson.
We are aware of the move by Nigeria to lobby or bribe few people claimed to be leaders in different parts of Biafra land to make statements against Biafra restoration without consulting the people neither a statement that represents the entire wish of the people which we saw in Enugu as well. Its gross dishonour coming from Pa Johnson to our heroe’s ideology major general Philip Effiong who where ever he is will be happy we carried on where he stopped and make Biafra of his dream come true, mentioning his name there is dishonor.
It is a huge disappointment from Pa Johnson to the people of Itsekiri that when yorubas who have gotten much from Nigeria without being marginalized are clamoring for Oduduwa republic hence Nigeria is a failed states, we the people of Itshekiri that are second class and marginalized are receiving anti-people statement from Pa Johnson. We the people of Itsekiri therefore state categorically that Pa Johnson stands on his own with his Nigerian cohorts hence his statement does not represent the wish and goodwill of Itsekiri people. We call on all Biafrans to be strong as we are solidly behind the quest for our dear country, the people of Itsekiri stand tall to say time has passed when few people for their interest destroyed the future of the people.

“When you are African, and you are sometimes better (at something) than Europeans or Americans, you’re not considered African.
An African who has never been to Africa commits a crime, he is identified by his root being a Blackman and when he is of immense benefits to the western world, he is one of them.

Fixing Africa is a collective effort. The leaders should focus on education and poverty instead of looting the continent and still invest same in places where such investments won't be appreciated.

Former Cameroon captain Samuel Eto'o is using his fame for a good cause as he has now given a strong statement against the deadly terrorists called Boko Haram ravaging the Northern part of Nigeria. The former Barcelona and Chelsea star has set up the Yellow Whistleblower FC foundation to raise funds and awareness to help people fleeing Nigeria and Cameroon amid the increasing amount of attacks from Boko Haram militants.

Eto’o, says it's time the world stepped up its response to this menace called Boko Haram. The 34-year-old urged leaders and the media to react as they did to the terror attack on the Charlie Hebdo magazine offices in Paris in January.

“It is important for us to talk about it — if we don’t do it, who will? We all tried to offer our support (after Charlie Hebdo). We saw African head of states coming to Paris to offer their support to France." He said in an interview with CNN.

“Why, when it comes to Africa — when it comes to our continent — don’t we do anything? Maybe because the media are not doing what they should do.

“When it comes to Charlie Hebdo, we talk about it. The media were right: It was important to talk about that. However when it comes to Boko Haram, we need to wait for the most horrific things to happen for the media to say a word." said the four-time African player of the year.

“After that, everybody stops talking about it. It is like nothing ever happened.

“I think journalists should have denounced this situation. We saw what happened in France. We were very sad about this. We were asking ourselves, ‘How can this happen? How can they succeed? How can these people take away lives of happy people who had families and friends?'”

“I was affected, like many of my African brothers, by Boko Haram. We haven’t been affected by such horrors in a very long time,” he said. “We are seeing these atrocities and we seem powerless.

“We need to cope with this situation. We need to denounce it and find solutions at our level while our armed forces do their own job on the ground.”

Eto’o said one of the most effective ways to defeat Boko Haram and its ideology would be through education, which he called “the most formidable weapon.”

“We need to create schools and give the possibility to these children to learn and understand,” explained Eto’o, whose illustrious career has taken him to Italy, Spain, Russia, England and Turkey, winning three European Champions League titles. He was reportedly one of the the world’s highest-paid players at Anzhi Makhachkala.

“Some of these children affected by the situation are young and are easily manipulable, and they are manipulated. These children are used and join this terrorist organization.”

Eto’o, who now plays for Turkish club Antalyaspor, said: “We wanted to show the right way to our young brothers, but the ignorance that we have in Africa leads to our own brothers shooting at us.

“When you are African, and you are sometimes better (at something) than Europeans or Americans, you’re not considered African.

“It’s frustrating but you can’t be mad. I refuse to be ignorant. The only message that I want to give is that I want people to have easy access to education.”

The northern elites don't want majority of their populace to get formal education hence they will understand how the few elites are ripping them off of their economic prosperity.

They prefer to be seen as gods among them.

Excellent! "We need to denounce it and find solutions at our level while our armed forces do their own job on the ground," says Samuel Eto'o. What he is saying is that the armed forces need support, they can't do this alone. The victims too can't cope without our support. They need all Nigerians, Cameroonians and All Africans behind them, in prayer, poetry, music, movies, etc., providing food, clothes, donations and other types of support. With that kind of support, there's no way Boko Haram can succeed in their nefarious crimes of planting bomb and recruiting or forcing people to fight for them. But as long as the armed forces are expected to fight and perform miracles while everyone else watches from the sidelines, waiting to point out at the shortcomings of the armed forces or the government and laugh or denounce them and compare and contrast like many Nairalanders, Boko Haram will grow stronger and stronger and defeat the armed forces. This is not a bipartisan matter. People need to forget about their tribe or region and focus on the need to fight and defeat Boko Haram for all Christians and moderate Muslims, freedom and national sovereignty. The leaders of directly affected countries and AU should not allow themselves to think that this is just a matter of getting smart bullets and bombs into the hands of well-trained soldiers. You will not only get embarrassed by Boko Haram, they will overthrow African governments and impose their sharia law on everyone. You should work so hard, mobilizing the people that even the majority of Muslims will take a resolute stand against Boko Haram. All African people and international community must be mobilized!
