Now back to the room I have an old dstv dish that has been on the wall, I collected the wire and connected it back to my TV, but no channel is showing but the old channel list saved at the dealer shop are there....

Go to your Tv satellite installation Menu, input dstv frequencies and you will get at least a cctv news and dstv channels (scrambled). Install another dish at 16/17 deg with double LNB and connect with diseq switch, you will get the free channels tv, install another dish at 68 deg you will get old mytv/church programs. For step by step tutorial you will need an e book or read all about FTA on Nairaland or you pay money to me.
