Was not what I expected by my standard, but it's generally averagely ok.

Same to you bro. It was actually a low 2 1 result. How was yours? With 301 in JAMB, am sure you got a first class, right?

No.. he needs to meet up with the prescribed cutoff mark set by jamb which i don't think will drop to 180

I don't know what to do to "ensure" he gets admission. i don't think any other school accepts below the cutoff mark.. you can ask around though

Did he choose cu in jamb? Let him pray that jamb should fix the general cutoff at 160. Also he needs to be prepared to score better than the hundreds of prospective engineering students that scored above 200 during the covenant uni post jamb. It is still possible but the chances are almost 0.. One thing is sure, he will not get the major engineering courses. But if you know people in Nigeria I want to believe anything is possible o.

the truth is that covenant values thier postjamb more than jamb. But because they don't want to have any problem with nuc they will only admit students that meets jamb cutoff mark. Just pray that the general cutoff for this year will be 160. Choose cu in jamb if you have not done that already. Have a very good postjamb score. Even if you dont get ur course they should give u a course. Then after ur nephew enters he can then change course to his real course. I am an optimist sha.

Thank you so much. I don't think he filled CU in his jamb form....i just came back not long ago and spoke with his mom, my sis...so I told her I want the boy to go to CU. I really want him to. The next option is abroad but it's risky to send such a young boy out to a foreign land considering how the world is now, sighs.

thanks so much

Thank God you said you added that you were an optimist... but be honest.. that cutoff mark is not going to drop to 160

I think he should do his masters (or higher degrees) abroad. The Covenant foundation is needed for every child, and it can't be gotten anywhere else.
