The message displayed on the atm machine when I went to withdraw this evening says NO BVN,NO TRXN AS FROM NOV 1st 2015.

I know this can't be practical else customers will hold banks to ransom.

As long as the account will be reopened when the BVN is done then fine.

I feel pity for certain banks because this BVN issue will make them lose a lot of customers to the new generation banks.
