Lagos is not the cheapest place to find a hotel accommodation in the world, I really don't know why, but I think one of the main reasons is that the tourist industry is not very developed so there is not much choice when it comes to affordable accommodation.

Also issue of energy and security, means you can not just walk into any Hotel, you have to make sure they have back up generator, and 24 hour security.

Because safety should be in ones mind at all times
