No need to tip the staff at this hotel.

Japan opened the first hotel that is entirely staffed by androids. The hotel is named "Henn na," which is Japanese for strange hotel.

The two-story hotel opened July 17 and it is situated at the Huis Ten Bosch theme park in Sasebo, Japan.

Robots at the hotel provide porter service, room cleaning and front desk management. The creators of the hotel said the robots will reduce costs and ensure comfort.

"We will make the most efficient hotel in the world," Hideo Sawada, company president, said during a press conference. "In the future, we'd like to have more than 90 percent of hotel services operated by robots."
The hotel also have facial recognition, which will allow hotel guests to enter their rooms without a key.

Hotel rooms cost 7,000 yen a night, which roughly translates to $59. A twin room will cost 9,000 yen ($76).

The first complex opened in July have 72 rooms. The second complex will be completed by next year and will also have 72 rooms. If the hotel reaches maximum capacity they will bid off rooms, but the upper limit will be 14,000 yen.

Japan is not the only country opening theme parks and hotels with cutting edge technology. South Korea is will reportedly open the world's first theme park devoted entirely to robotics and artificial intelligence. The theme park will be called Robot Land and it's set to open in 2016.
