Biafra Of My Dream by Ugochukwu45: 9:52am On Nov 06, 2015

I grew up hearing stories of how the bearded one who knows English language more than the original owners confronted the evil of his time. When it was more like a suicide mission to speak against the orchestrated bloodletting of his people. What began as a military operation created an avenue for those who felt inferior to the intellectual capacity of the wise men from the east to revenge and attempt to overthrow the order of superiority.

Yes, if it was because the soldiers who carried out the first military coup in the country were predominantly Igbos and some of them clearly sabotaged the motive and gave it an ethnic coloration, then the harshest punishment known to the military should be meted to them. No one will complain. Subsequently, a number of other coups have taken place where the perpetrators could not pull through and paid for their lust for power. None ever attracted as much as a protest of placard carrying youths chanting "we no go gree ooo, we no go gree." But when it became an open invitation to wipe out a people from the face of the earth... Afterall, it is only a tree that will hear of a plot to take away its life and still remain rooted at one spot.

The consequence is 30 months of genocide because a people felt that since they cannot be accommodated and protected within the contraption called Nigeria, they will rather go and find their own land.

Biafra was a child of circumstance. It was a response to situations that cannot be likened to any other. The selective killing was unimaginable. I heard and read that in some cases, the murderers will go from house to house in search of Igbos who they had condemned to death for no other reason than who they were and where they come from. I was told and available written records validate the story that when Igbos began to flee from the North, those whose conscience were beclouded by greed and inferiority complex, will waylay them and will slaughter a truck load of human beings, women and children inclusive. Their offence is that they call Mmili and not Ruwa.

There is no agreeable statistics of those who were killed, maimed or rendered homeless in the genocide called war but there seem to be a consensus that millions of souls perished through guns, grenade and other weapons deployed against the unprepared people of the Eastern part of Nigeria. Many also died of hunger and starvation.

Today, 45 years after the pogrom, Biafra has become the Ideology of the "never say die."

I heard and also read from very reliable sources that every Igbo man, no matter how much you had in the bank before the crisis broke, was given 20 pounds. Let us reason this way; the capital for any business owned by any Igbo man coming from the war era was not more than 20 pounds. It is therefore beyond human comprehension to fathom how the people deprived and robbed of their wealth could stage a come-back in the manner Igbo sons and daughters did in this less than half a decade.

Biafra of my dream may no longer be a geographical expression but has become the spirit of "onye aghana nwanne ya" which translates to, be your brothers' keeper.

Pursuing the Biafra of my dream will push me to keep asking for explanation over the dead bodies that floated on the Ezu River in January 2013. Anambra state government at the time and our representatives at the National Assembly allowed the matter to be swept under the carpet after few weeks of grandstanding and the people moved on as if nothing happened but the souls of those young men is still asking for justice.
The Biafra blood in me is thirty and yearning for a time when political cleavages will be covered and eroded in pursuit of common good of the people. When the elite will quit selfishness and personal aggrandizement in order to secure the comfort of the majority.

Seeking the Biafra of my dream will involve demanding compensation for all those economic policies that were targeted at impoverishing my people. Nigerian government over time created environment that encourage monopoly and kill healthy competition in business all because Igbos should not be allowed to gain upper hand again or so it seems.

The Biafra of my dream is where equality is the bedrock of justice, peace and progress. If other geopolitical zones in Nigeria has not less than six state, why should the South East have less? Is it because the region is too poor that more states will not be viable or because creating an extra state will give them opportunity to demand for equal rights in the distribution of national wealth?

I am looking for a Biafra where my counselor at the local government and the Chairman of the council have my well being as their first responsibility. I eagerly await for the time when the member representing Idemili North in the Anambra State House of Assembly cares about me and the governor does not care about my Local Government of origin or my creed while paying attention to my request and distributes our resources equitably, in a manner that gives all of us sense of belonging. My representative at the House of Representatives and the Senate should not see themselves as lord unto themselves. That is what I am hoping to see, after all, there is no foreigner among them, we are all Igbos.

I am waiting for a time when an Ebonyi man will find home and peace in Anambra and the man from Enugu will not be scared to travel to Ngwa. I am longing for the time when an Nnewi man will fall in love with a lady and not look back when he discovers she is from Mbaise. I am looking forward to when the rich man from Akpugo Eze will see the young businessman from Obazu Mbierri as his brother and mentor him instead of stifling him and pushing him out of business. That is the Biafra of my dream.

Biafra will be a reality when those who seized the property that did not belong to them come begging to pay restitution. They will not just return the property they forcefully took away from their "brothers" but will also offer to refund revenue derived from the building for the past 45 years. There was no building that was abandoned. No, let us stop deceiving ourselves. The owner may have fled for his life but returned after the war. How did it amount to abandonment? When the oppressors pay back "their debt," then I will know that Biafra is nearer than we thought.

For now, the campaign for Biafra as a geographical expression is a denial that the millions of soul that perished in the quest for recognition and acceptance in Nigeria paid the price for us. It is an acceptance of perpetual defeat. Asking that we quit now to me, is admission of weakness and not show of strength. Because if we have sacrificed so much to keep Nigeria together, I am persuaded that we must insist on getting our rightful place and demanding our fair share of the common wealth is the way to go.

How soon we will succeed will be determined by how well we strategise and how soon we realise that quitting is not an option.

In a Dream, you better wake up. Buhari will not spare any scarecrow from the east. He believes in Nigeria more than any past president. You should have done this during GEJ period. GEJ care less so far he had his ogogoro! Wait till we have another GEJ

You talk about GeJ rudely as if your father is better than him or contributed to the development of Nigeria in anyway.

BIAFRA IS NOT ORDINARY, NNAMDI KANU IS NOT ORDINARY: ANY HARM AGAINST NNAMDI KANU WILL SPELL A DOOM OF AN IMMENSE PROPORTION TO NIGERIA. BE WARNED!!!!Biafra is the centre of the earth, the prime meridian. Biafra is the beginning of time and Biafra existed before the illegal creation called Nigeria

Nnamdi Kanu who happens to be a prince has always informed those that care to listen that the messages he brought to the world was ordained and that he was mandated to carry out the mission of Biafra restoration.Could his coming have been seen by Nostradamus the man who saw tomorrow over 400 years ago?A warning to those who chose to sell their birthright for a bowl of porridge, the likes of most Biafran Governors, Nduka Eyas, the Okorochas, Obianos, the Igbokwes of this world to remember what happened to Judas Iscariot. And for the likes of Ummuna whom while a British white woman MP was writing and calling for the release of our hero and leader Nnamdi Kanu, he was busy pledging support for Buhari to be aware!Prosperity will never forgive them; What are the prophets really saying?Did Nostradamus see Biafra?

The rising and setting of the sun is an unbroken ordinance of God: no one can prevent the sun from running its course. For, the sun is like a champion rejoicing to run his course. It rises at one end of the heavens and follows its course to the other end. Nothing can hide from its heat (Psalm 19: 5-6).

So, will the Rising Sun of Biafra, which many a Nigerian military dictator gleefully declared as being set forever, rise again? Is the Rising Sun of Biafra breaking upon the Trigger of the African Continent? “The Sun rises and the sun sets, then hurries around to rise again” (Ecclesiastes 1:5). Did the man who was reputed to have “Seen tomorrow” see the Sun of Biafra rising?A piece of information volunteered by one Mr. Francis Anyibe through his e-mail address, franco76@onebox.com, indicates that Nostradamus actually saw the Rising Sun of Biafra.Read his mail: “If you are among those who presume that the Rising Sun of Biafra is set forever, you better had a rethink. Reason? A perceptive exploration of the predictions and prophecies of “the man who saw tomorrow”, Nostradamus, revealed a marvelous prophetic inevitability of Biafra as a sovereign, strong, separate nation. Nostradamus, the 16th century famed Jewish- French doctor predicted over 400 years back, that “A Powerful Prince will arise in the world at the Trigger of the Gun. He will be the envy of other princes. They (the other princes) will try to subdue his rise but all will be a failure.

An insight into this prediction reveals that the Trigger of the Gun is at the position of the yet-to-be-actualized Biafran Republic, and that Nostradamus’ Powerful Prince will come from this gestate republic---Biafra. It is noteworthy to recall that at the discovery of the African Continent, the name initially given to it was “The Gun”, because of its semblance to the shape of a gun.“Looking at the map of Africa, Biafra (bordered and deriving its name from the Bight of Biafra) is at the position of the Trigger of the African Gun – geographically speaking. It then follows that the Nastradamus’ predicted-powerful Prince will come from Biafraland.

“And how can that Prince arise without a sovereign Biafran State in place? What this translates into is that a sovereign Biafra is inevitable. It is as certain as “day following night,” Mr. Anyibe concluded one proven fact about Nostradamus’ predictions and prophecies is they hardly fail. He prophesied the coming of the first and second presumed anti-Christs – Napoleon and Hitler. He equally “saw” the Arabian prince wearing a blue turban who became a terror unto Europe and America – Osama Bin laden.

This came to past equally. So, could it be that the Rising Sun of the Christian Democratic Republic of Biafra (CDRB) is breaking upon us? Is the Christian Democratic Republic of Biafra (CDRB) actually the Trigger of the geographical Gun called Africa? We shall see!Christian Democratic Republic of Biafra [CDRB]; a nation designed in Heaven; chosen for world mission break-up of Nigeria: What the prophets are saying!By Martin Ben-TZION Nostradamus Prophecy,NnamdiKanu and the Emerging Biafra Personality cult there is a growing personality cult emerging in Former Eastern Region of Nigeria this new cult is spearheaded by Nnamdi Kanu the leader of the indigenous people of Biafra world wide(IPOB) and the Director of Radio Biafra.

It have become absolutely necessary for us to study this emerging group after the massive show of force on the 30th of May 2015 during the Biafra remembrance day at Aba and across the world in over 90 countries of the world , it have become clearer that this group can no longer be ignored .A cult of personality arises when an individual uses mass media, propaganda, or other methods, to create an idealized, heroic, and at times, worshipful image, often through unquestioning flattery and praise. Sociologist Max Weber developed a tripartite classification of authority; the cult of personality holds parallels with what Weber defined as "charismatic authority".

A cult of personality is similar to divinization, except that it is established by mass media and propaganda usually by the state.Recently, the movement have taken some form of religious coloration this have forced us to beam our torch light on the personality and religious figure of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu . we have to take a critical look at the Religious personalty of Nnamdi Kanu and its implication with respect to the Prophecy of The Great Nostradamus over 300 centuries ago.For Centuries both Political ,religious and mystical scholars have been trying to decipher the meaning of the following stanza of Nostradamus prophecy Michel de Nostradame more commonly known as Nostradamus -

"The man who saw tomorrow". He was a seer and a Jewish French Doctor who predicted over 400 years back, thatA POWERFUL PRINCE WILL ARISE IN THE WORLD AT THE TRIGGER OF THE GUN. HE WILL BE THE ENVY OF OTHER PRINCE ( AND THEY I.E THE OTHER PRINCE WILL TRY TO SUBDUE HIM) BUT ALL WILL BE FAILURE.

A careful look at the trigger point of the world map brings to mind the map of Africa which actually look like a gun and a look at the gun shape of Africa clearly show that the trigger gun point of Africa is exactly situated at no place else but the Former Eastern Region of Nigeria which currently comprises of South east and South South region of Nigeria. Also Historically it is noteworthy to state that at the initial discovery Of Africa the name givento it was actually GUN because of its close semblance to the shape of a gun.I know as a Political Scientist Bsc Political Science Major from the prestigious Anambra state University my area does not cover mystical research but given the accuracy of Nostradamus prophecy when he predicted the rise of Emperor Napoloen it have ceased to be a mystic issue but a Political issue that must be treated as such .Another glaring fact is the use of the word Prince by Nostradamus which implies that whoever must emerge must be the son of a King at a casual look this looks impossible because the days of empires and Kings are far gone surprising very few people are aware that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu the director of Radio Biafra is from a prestigious family His father is a Royal King from Abia State Nigeria and he is actually the next heir to the throne a PRINCE..
