A welcome development but not the first I guess. A center was set up at adazi-Nnukwu in Anambra state. Some surgeries has already been performed there by nigerian trained cardiothoracic surgeons. 1 Like |

Donbrig: I concur. There's no reason Nigeria cannot be the next go-to place for medical treatment. If India can do it, why can't we? Something else we need to do is expand and modernise/repackage/rebrand our traditional medicine system, because there is a lot of value in that as well. The Chinese have done it so well with theirs, and I'm sure we have an even deeper well of traditional medicine than them. 1 Like |

Nigeria need more hospitals across the local government areas of each state, with modern equipment and qualified staff. The country general hospitals are always overpopulated. Our population is growing, infrastructure is not. |
