this man called Oliseh Metuh is a talkative. when PDP was declare winner in delta, abia and some other state he didn't blame the judiciary now they lost in taraba he started his crying again. he is yet to see anything until Wike will be dislodged from River State before he knows the meaning of CHANGE. no condition is permanent life. PDP will be dislodged from Nigeria totally.

Anybody who criticizes the short-comings of this government risks being labelled a wailer. Thus, people are turning a blind eye to what is slowly happening to our country. This judgement was delivered on a faulty premise. But people don't care. They are just happy seeing PDP lose. For the record, I don't dispute the fact that PDP ran a terrible government but this is something else

Whether the PDP is being paid back in its own coin is not the point, the fact that the judiciary is seen to be biased does not bode well for any democracy. Case in point: the same point that was used to disqualify Agbaje's petition is the same point that formed part of Dakuku's successful petition to sack Wike. This is not saying that Wike did not rig the election but the judiciary is now seen to be dancing to a higher tune

Anyway, I'm not worried because Nigerians are very simple people. The same voices that chant 'Say Barber; Say Booohari!!' may change tune in the blink of an eye. The same people are in governance coming under the togas of different political parties.

When change comes, we will know it. There will be no need to announce it. You can't hide the aroma of indomie and egg grin

If you like label me a wailer? It doesn't change your salary or lift our economy from recession

change is in action not party logo... Why does apc use d same standards of the party they detest.

PDP should head to the court instead of wailing. They crying all the time when they should be preparing to head to the appeal court shows they have lost the case at the appeal before applying self.

Cry cry party

How PDP Sold Taraba State Governorship Primary To TY Danjuma In Abuja

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) yesterday moved the governorship primary for Taraba State to Abuja to enable the fraudulent installation of a candidate favored by billionaire and former army general, Theophilus Danjuma.

The convention to elect a gubernatorial candidate was to have taken place earlier this week but the National Working Committee of the PDP refused to send representatives to conduct the election because they feared that a majority of the 720 delegates slated for the convention were loyal to the former Acting Governor, Umar Garba.

The rest were looking to cast their vote for another contestant, David Sabo Kente, the elder brother of a former speaker of the Taraba State Assembly.

The party reportedly sold the governorship slot to General Danjuma, who selected Samuel Ortom-Darius Isiaku, a former Minister of the Niger Delta Affairs to get the ticket. Isiaku however had no single delegate that was willing to vote for him.

Upon learning of the disastrous outing that awaited the former Minister in Jalingo, the PDP called for a “Special Delegates Convention” to be held at its Wadata headquarters in Abuja. It expanded the convention to accommodate sundry political office holders as “special delegates” in order to rig the outcome in Mr. Isiaku’s favor.

Sensing the plot, Alhaji Umar hired three jets to take delegates loyal to him to yesterday.
Upon arriving in Abuja, the legitimate delegates invaded the PDP headquarters and embarked on a serious protest, chanting anti-party slogans and denouncing Danjuma. That protest did not deter the party from announcing Mr. Isyaku as the PDP candidate for governor in Taraba state.

SaharaReporters had previously reported that Danjuma was the arrowhead of those that imposed Governor Danbaba Suntai, despite being severely incapacitated in an October 2012 air crash, upon the state. Recently they also worked to bring back the deputy governor who had earlier been fired by Suntai using their connections at the Supreme Court. Our sources stated that the new Chief Justice of Nigeria, who is from Taraba, facilitated the judicial deal that brought back the former deputy governor to Suntai to power.Disaffected member of the PDP in the state told Saharareporters that they are left with no option that to decamp encase to the All Progressive Congress party so as to hand the PDP the defeat they deserve during the upcoming general elections in February 2015.

If it goes in PDP's favour, no external interference, but it goes against them, it is executive interference, right? What manner of opposition will PDP Become in four years?

Olisah Methu agian? You still dey talk? Make Lai catch you there. Back to the topic.
Scoffs- Honestly karma is truly a bitchy bitch. Aunty Karma is playing ludo game on Pdp. The party had once used the same judicial wing to supress the rise of other political parties in our country before. When they were in power, they had every opportunity to correct this judiacial anomaly and to equate every injustice rather, they chose to use it as a political weapons to clip the wings of other party. Obasanjo understood what I'm saying very well because he is architect of this set up and he enjoyed it very well, He was the one that assembled Efcc as his political bull dog to bully his political opponent either in party or individuals, now the chain of the same bull dog has been given to Apc.
Please tell Pdp should sit back-grab popcorn and enjoy cus this is an Indian movie produced by Pdp and it is their turn to watch it.
winksss, the film loooong oooo

That's why we all voted CHANGE.

Oh... Change mantra might be from BAD to WORST

While I totally agree that the judiciary must not be allowed to be compromised any further, I think it's also important to note that two people may commit the same type of crime and even put up the same defence, yet one gets acquitted while the other is sentenced to jail depending on how convincing the case put forward by the prosecution or defence is, and its assessment by a judge or jury. There is no one-size fits all to it.

This is in reference to the legal aspects you raised (Agbaje and Dakuku judgements) and not the political shenanigans.

Was Ambode not picked by Tinubu?cif there was a proper APC primary election would he have won?
The truth is that Taraba politics is more Religious than political. It is a Christian state but the muslims are fighting hard to take over.

what has the people of Taraba state got to do with where PDP held their gubernatorial primary election, the fact remains that they voted massively for who they wanted to govern them so APC stealing the people's mandate tru the back door and imposing themselves on the people of Taraba state is quite bizarre but time will tell.

My exact thought when I read about the judgement. How can a tribunal sitting in abuja rather than jalingo be complaining that the primaries didn't hold in jalingo. So what about all the Yobe, Borno and Adamawa primaries that held in abuja rather than their state capitals by APC?
