Alot of households are not smiling with electricity providers especially with the epileptic power supply.

The constant fixed charge,irregular billing has made many Nigerians to constantly complain about the services rendered,howbeit,poor services by the power companies.



Just some months ago,mr Abel,NOT REAL NAME,precisely in April had his building disconnected for inability to pay up bills.Mr Abel had consequently refused to reconnect due to the fact that a 2 hour light in the area he lived,Evuotubu in benin city was a jubilation.


But to his amazement,though he was disconnected,Benin Electricity Distribution Company,kept rolling in the bills,for services as supposed that were never rendered.


Speaking with a BEDC staff who spoke on the condition of anonimity,FRANK ENABULELE'S BLOG learnt that,though as a Nigerian you may have your light disconnected,bills will keep coming even if you don't reconnect.According to the staff,every building already registered with the company will keep receiving bills whether disconnected or not.In the case of disconnection,it is believed that the building will someday reconnect,so,the bill gets automatic generation by the company's system.
