"And Moses said to the people, "Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever. "The LORD will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace." (Exodus 14:13-14 NKJV).

One of the most difficult things to do is to wait upon God most especially in the time of pressure. To wait upon the Lord means to do nothing; irrespective of the human strength and expertise at your disposal; until the Lord decides to intervene or speak on a matter.

We cannot but be under pressure as we pass through different life's situations. Therefore, when faced with life's challenges the first pre-requisite to gaining victory is to overcome fear with God's word. You are to "Fear Not" not necessarily because there is a ray of hope coming from the arm of flesh but because you have a God.

The pressure imposed by life's challenge is able to make men become unstable both in faith and righteousness. When you come to this point on the pathway of destiny "Stand Still". Remain where God wants you to be.

Are you under the pressure of the fear of the unknown in your academics, marital life, career, finances, health etc.? Believe God to help you out; Don't even try to outrun or outsmart Him. You can't cut corners or compromise your faith and still expect Him to act on your behalf. You can't tell Him to build on the foundation He did not lay. Wait upon Him and you will see His salvation over the affairs of your life.
