Have any nation in 21st century won a modern succession with war civil(NO). we are not in medieval age anymore the world has changed. what happens here matters what happens there. Therefore now is not the time to think of civil war cause there is a global influence and proxy wars ungoing now between the west(U.S,E.U,NATO) and eastern blog(russia, china, Iran N-korea) lets talk of the arab spring crisis and sudan crisis that lend to the destabilization of middle east that we know today it is this proxy wars ongoing between this two groups superpowers that caused it we may compare this situation to nigerian crisis first we know it was series of protest that lend to the arab crisis similarly we have protest in the east now, next the military rolls in conflicts awake foreign powers intervene arming small ethnic groups they may at the end get their country then what next, operation resource control begins by each armed small ethnic groups which leads to conflicts because an armed militia men of different ethnicity and differences will never want be dependant or under control of a majority tribe, he will always want to be the boss of himself what next we have warlords and arms race which inline foreign powers will profit from and will want such crisis to continue, talk off weapon sales to oil exchange next tribal and ethnic clashes for dominance, territory and resource control and next total refugee influx to South west and maybe South center but mainly SW because the center part will have the north to deal with on a large scale talk of geographical region not that the SW will not have anybody to deal with, they too will deal with north and even the east leading to a potential SW and SC coaliation alliance treaty then U.S are now able to establish their base(AFRICOM) and drill your oil for free in the name of keeping peace the new country in this eastern part of the country region have high possibility of becoming the worst modern dystopia because where there is oil and many different ethnicity are present there will be conflict even if you dont start it the foreign powers will. The situation of this event it like people are in a gas station(nigeria) and everywhere is filled with leaked gas(nigerian problems)which are meant to be repaired but everybody is demanding for gas(regional interest) and some guys demanded that if they dont fill their tank they will light a match(IPOB and succession war=civil war) the whole region will be on fire right, that is the case. To think of this it may sound provoking but it may be the truth "kalu maybe a western secret agent to start the match that will ignite the gas" if succession is wanted then do it in an organised way through national conference, confederation of states and regions like(UK),treaties and referendum and not with protest and social disorder.....fill free to add your views in a matured manner
