That is always the idea, people always need a devil to blame for their own actions and mistakes therefore shift the responsibility from themselves to a mythical devil somewhere. At the same hand most tend to give God (what ever version their religion has) credit for their achievement or the effect of other people's action towards them that is pleasing. It is a selfish delusional psychological pillow. . . Blame the devil for your mistakes and God for your achievements when both are no where to be found.. People should stop blaming mythical characters for their own actions and wrong doings and stop giving them credits for their own achievement. What ever action we take is of our own making and our responsibility and if we succeed we deserve the credit. . .
