My government will do all within its power to remedy the situation,” he assured. However, a former Golden Eaglets player, Jonathan Akpoborie urged the president via his facebook page to redeem the pledge made to the team in 1985: “As we celebrate our new Golden Eaglets, I am reminding Mr president of promises he made to this team in this picture 30 years ago. Thank you sir. The Nigerian Golden Eaglets retain the FIFA won FIFA U-17 tournament back-to-back on Sunday in Chile. |
