President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday named a former governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babatunde Fashola (SAN), the Minister of Power, Works and Housing.

The ministry is a merger of three ministries: Power, Works as well as Housing, Land and Urban Development.

The President, shortly after inaugurating the ministers, also named a former governor of Rivers State, Mr. Rotimi Amaechi, the Minister for Transportation.

I must confess that PMB pulled a fast one here. The list is suprising and balanced. The only reservation I have about it is whether Kemi Adeosun has the knowledge and experience to manage the Finance of a country as large and complex as Nigeria. Also, I hope people, department and Agencies under her Ministry will respect her due to her age and obscurity before this appointment.

James Ocholi would have made a better job as AG federation than Abubakar Malami.

Now Buhari can have his own "Oyel well" unchecked.
