I guess most ppl here no go school. He is saying that Fashola should experience interrupting power, so that he understands what the average nigerian goes through. The problem in a lot of leaderships is that the leaders tend to be oblivious to the plight of the common man. Ben Murray Bruce is only saying that those who are now in power should acquaint themselves with plight of the common man, so that not only will it motivate them to push for changes but even make them think of innovative ways to make those changes
