Flyingngel: You cant compare Akwa Ibom to any state in this country EXCEPT Lagos. Dt shows u how good akwa ibom has it dt they can only be compared to the commercial capital who have 10times their population. Wt the allocation akwa ibom is collecting, it should even be MORE beautiful dn that. And dts just 13% of the whole dt goes to the federal government. If igbos are smart (cos seriously they arent so smart are they?), they would focus on just getting akwa ibom and crossriverians as allies and seceding. They could have easily gotten away wt it just dt way the 1st time. Afterall those tribes were willingly part of the first biafra. But akwa ibom didnt have oil then (Greed is a bastard). Lol! But seriously, akwa ibom/crossriver seem very submissive and more homogenous. Igbos should leave the other south southerners alone to secede wt the south south cos if they include d ijaws & the edoids in their country, they would have loads of tribal wars. The money from akwa ibom can power all 8 states and then some and calabar has a port. Im sure its easier to get a referendum supported in all 8 states for this without going into rivers state. But im a nonpolitical young yoruba girl. What do i know? What i do know for sure though is dt Nigeria is too immature for our current politics? Before 2015 i never thought twice abt having an igbo president. Was even rooting for pat utomi as d next president after buhari. But wt d current hatred & d way igbos diss my pple/culture, i dont see it happening. Better we rotate d presidency regionally or we all go our seperate ways. The vote is useless when d populace have tribal/religious bias. |

searching4loove: Can you look at the level of your brain?, so low. What concern the IGBOS AND THE TREND? Or has the Igbos become so important that people like you can't do without referring to them. Replying your statement about the Igbos, they are not interested in the presidency of Nigeria, but freedom from being marginalised from Nigeria. If God wants Igbos to gain their freedom, no one can stand their way and they will have enough to eat and drink. |

Seunaj05: That design depicts Hausa traditional Architecture.......... The arches, the pinnacles and slanted walls are elements of Hausa Traditional Architecture..........is a heritage and people with history knows that........ You can't see anything good from North Why?......please grow up....and be objective in your reasoning 1 Like 1 Share |

searching4loove:you are on point. Though an igbo but merely looking at those we call leaders in the south east, i see no hope in biafra. We should rather as you aptly said ask our goverment to do their duties not fighting for what we are not yet sure can be actuallized. A bird at hand they say is worth two in the bush. |

Seunaj05: The Arabic script on naira indeed depicts pre-colonial Hausa-Fulani civilisations which every Nigerian should be proud of...... before colonial masters came Hausa Fulanis already have their way of reading and writing Hausa with Arabic alphabets which is called Ajami.......... But if you turned blind eye and refuse to see pre colonial civilisation of some parts of Nigeria as something good.....you are free to oppose the Arabic script in naira notes because you have a say on national issues like every other Nigerian equally..... But the non insulting in any way Architectural design approach of a hospital in Kano is not something you have a say on....this is not a national issue so please.........You don't have any excuse whatsoever to decide the Architectural concept the people of Kano are to use for their designs |

ArcIbrahim38:honestly, I am impressed with your argument. It's impressive how u iterated that the Arabic script on the naira note (as well as on our military badge) is a national issue. I presume u would accept with me that it is actually uncalled for as Arabic is never an official language in Nigeria. We can find another another way such as "zo" as part of the WAZOBIA that will truly represent Hausa without any controversy. It's just a "common" analysis. Thanks for ur understanding, Ibrahim |

I sincerely don't understand why most Nigerians celebrate mediocrity. What is massive in this structure that is taking two administration to get it completed?it won't be surprising to hear the mind boggling amount allocated to this yet uncompleted structure. This was How Ex-governor Akpabio now a Senator hoodwinked the people of Akwa Ibom of building a world class hospital that is yet to take off after spending billions. Enough of all these propaganda. |
