After lots of hard work, Nairaland's spell check feature has just been re-enabled. You can  now use it. what do you think?

It is a good innovation. The only trouble people like me will have is not posting and dropping my post anyhow.

But it won't be of much help to those using mobile phones. Nice one sha. Kudos

I typed "Let's see if my typogrifical erras will be flagged." and the checker corrected to

Let's see if my typographical errors will be flagged. For the word "erras" the system gave me several suggestions including "errors" which I meant to write

I love it.

You read my mind. Nairaland spellchecker is a useless feature. Firefox spellchecker works quite nicely, and you can even set it based on the region (eg UK / US / Aus English). IE must have an equivalent.
What really is needed is a Naija-English oriented grammar checker so I don't have to read so many posts from some of these bush people blowing grammar like there's no tomorrow.

I do hope it was configured in such a manner that it will be able to recognize all the short cuts grammars in nairaland?
