Every time you listen to Nigerians comment on the issues of the country from seccession, harsh economic conditions, security and politics, one thing remains conspicuously absent, no one talks about the piece of highly fraudulent article called constitution that has been used by a few politicians and elites to take control of what belongs to different autonomous and indigenous people without there consent.

This is not just about the how the oil of SS is feeding the country, this goes far deeper and has roots in almost all crisis we witness today.

The North implemented Sharia law in 2000 to govern there region but the same fraudulent Nigerian constitution is trying to impose democracy on them.
Little wonder why people like shekau are out to forcefully implement there sharia law.

The same goes to a place like Lagos where the funds generated by the port authority is taken from the indigenous people as enshrined in a constitution they never agreed to.

The man in enugu does not understand why he can't generate his power with the coal in his backyard.

Asari dokubo and co don't understand how the proceeds of oil from there lands ended up in "One Nigera's "pursue.

These are the kind of problems generated by a constitution which did not take into account the concensus of the people but was rather created to take control of there lands and resources.
This is nothing short of slavery.

The 1999 Constitution of Nigeria should be jettisoned, to give way to the pre 1966 constitution of individual regions, who should go and work out the way they wish to govern themselves among themselves then a confederating constitution should be drafted from the constitution submitted from these regions to govern the centre.

Anything short of this, then this country shall remain in anarchy till it finally goes up in flames.

Please a warning to those brainless, hopeless and stupendously mentally deranged inanimate 3d drawings in human shape whom actually consider themselves humans because they can eat and shit, STAY OFF MY THREAD.....

The Nigerian constitution is a fraud. 99 percent of Nigerians don't know about this - one of the reasons the country is so messed up.

If most people read it, they would definitely understand why we are in this position we are in. I was thinking, people should start sharing the pdf version of the constitution to every Nigerian. People really need to know they are being taken for a ride undecided

Nobody agreed to obey the document in the first place. Nobody agreed to a presidential system of government, nobody agreed to a bicameral legislature, nobody agreed to state police, nobody agreed to how lands are used and resources shared. We just woke up one day to find out that a military president hired political and legal mercenaries to make these laws without our consent and call it a constitution.

65 million Nigerians are illiterate, the rest are not properly educated. Even if most Nigerians get hold of the document, they won't know what to make of it.
