To some Nigerians Jonathan is a clueless, lazy and most corrupt Nigerian president ever, but to some Nigerians is a peaceful, ease and self-respectful Nigerian president ever.
Yes Jonathan has some wrongs to his name but we shouldn't shy away from the fact that his just a human who is prone to mistakes and no president will really want to ruin or put a country he is running into a mess or leave it in a mess.
Silently GEJ was transforming Nigeria form it's dark ages of underdevelopment to a 21st century economic and political force

(1) Promoting and practice of true Democracy: Jonathan created an enabling environment where people of different backgrounds and different political views were accommodated under his watch. APC was registered by INEC as a mega opposition party big enough to challenge the PDP at both state and National level. This would have been unthinkable some years back

(2) Conduct of free and fair elections: The 2011 poll which was adjudged as the most credible election of its magnitude that haven't been conducted in African before. The 2015 election was noted by the world as an excellent free and fair election that saw the opposition as winners. As well as a smooth change of government
(3) Opening up of Nigeria to the global business community: under the watch of Jonathan Nigeria became Africa number one destination of Foreign investors. In the first six months of 2014 a total of $9.70billion or N3.51trillion flowed into the country economy as foreign direct investment (FDI) for the first time became became the largest economy in Africa, overtaking South Africa and Egypt in the process and also non-oil export rose from 2.3billion to 2.97billion from 2010 to 2013

Goodluck Ebele Jonathan administration: is the one behind the revival of the dead automotive industry in Nigeria. Global auto-giants like Peugeot, Nissan and Hyundai now either assemble or wholly manufacture small cars, SUV, trucks and buses at various locations in Nigeria. In addition to that, innoson vehicle manufacturing company (IVM) Nigeria's flagship indigenous automaker, has begin the sale of their first made in Nigeria cars and SUV in August 2014

(5) The Ebola Virus Desease was stopped in Nigeria. Realizing the imminent threat, the president declared a national emergency, pulling states, local authorities and the Federal Government into action. Polio virus cases reduced from 300 in 2010 to 0 in 2015.

(6) EDUCATION:establishment of nine federal universities across the country in states which previously had no federal degrees awarding institutions.

(7) COMPUTERIZING NIGERIA: Due to favourable economic policies Internet penetration in Nigeria has now increased from about 45 million in 2011 to 75million in 2015 overtaking countries such as the UK and France in the process, what's this means is that there is more people now using the Internet in Nigeria than in the UK and France. Second Quarter of 2014 the number stood at 130million out of a total of over 170million telephone lines in Nigeria

Goodluck Jonathan was born November 20, 1957, Otuoke, Nigeria. He became the Vice President of Nigeria in 2007 and the President in 2010.

Jonathan is of the Ijo (Ijaw) ethnic group and is a Christian. He was raised in the region of the Niger Delta, the modern territory of Bayelsa State. He went to Christian primary and secondary schools in the area and later attended the University of Port Harcourt.

There he earned a B.S. in zoology, an M.S. in hydrobiology and fisheries biology, and a Ph.D. in zoology. During his university education, he also studied at Rivers State College of Education from 1983 until 1993. The future president then worked as an assistant director at the Oil Mineral Producing Areas Development Commission from 1993 until 1998.

God bless GEJ.
God bless Nigeria
