Majority Of Nigerians Are Hypocrite, Massacre In Paris & Our Resolution. by ify123destiny(m): 6:40pm On Nov 16, 2015
Few days ago, it was reported that 128 people were massacred in Paris, ISIS terrorist group has claimed responsibility for the attack. The news & publicity is Ballyhoo on social media platforms, electronic media & so on. Its over two years our Chibok girls were captured in Nigeria, not much talk on it anymore, yet no hopes of rescuing them which is lugubrious.
Barely 72 hours of the strike in Paris, there have been so much talked about it, making it Crinkum-crankum even softwares has been designed to pass a message across the world, thereby condemning the act & also calling for the perpetrators to be apprended & brought to justice. The sad thing is that majority of Nigerians have been the one championing & creating more awareness about this massacre. Mostly on some social media platforms like facebook, we find profile pictures & cover photos changed to a customized French Flag.
This brings us to the question why was there not much campaigning & talks about Our Girls (268 Abducted Girls), if Nigerians & the world can propogate about the massacre in Paris barely 72 hours of this act. A country where the leaders are not concern about it citizens in terms of protection rather embezzeling & stealing public fund to satisfy their selfish interest. Leaders who are corrupt, self centered & can go every length using the law to their advantage to cover their corrupt practices. Am not supporting what happened in Paris, it should be condemned but as an activist who believes that every life is important, no matter your tribe, ethnicity, religion. We should cherish & defend our own. A country that talks & says it practice democracy. What is Democracy without the people (citizen)?. I therefore call on Patriotic Nigerians not hyprocrite let's continue the race on championing the campaign of getting our abducted Chibok Girls rescued & returned to their families. Long Live Nigeria, Long Live Nigerians.
