The Warriors Of Zimbabawe Players Celebrate After Scoring A Goal

The Warriors of Zimbabwe has expressed happiness for avoiding Nigeria in the forthcoming 4th African Nations Championship (CHAN) holding in Rwanda from 16 January to 7 February, 2016.

Speaking through the team manager, Sharif Mussa showed his excitement over the outcome of the draws held in Kigali on Sunday. “Our group is not that tough. We avoided big guns like Nigeria and Cote d’Ivoire besides the hosts, Rwanda. In Africa now there are no big or small teams.”

“I was with Zimbabwe in the previous two editions and we will go and complete what we started before. I believe CAF helps players to develop with such tournaments. CHAN is a great chance for African talents to show their skills”, Mussa told cafonline.com on Sunday after the draws.

Group A comprises of hosts Rwanda, Gabon, Cote D’Ivoire and Morocco, while Group B is made up of DR Congo, Angola, Cameroon and Ethiopia. Nigeria is in Group C alongside Tunisia, Guinea and Niger. The final Group D includes Zimbabwe, Mali, Uganda and Zambia. The draws was conducted Sunday evening at the Serena Hotel in Kigali.
