In some states like Florida, to get in-state tuition, you need to have lived in the state for atleast 3 years. If you transfer to another state for school, you can apply for residency tuition after 1 year.

Each state has its regulations, some take years and some take 1 year. Seems like you need a lil education about the country you live in, talk less of the online one you're fighting for.
