For me I've read good part of the story and here's my deduction.

Babe knows that coogar is a fraudster right from the onset but tag along either for love or using the Maga as a cash cow. Things fell apart and Babe demanded for settlement from coogar and if he decline she'll blow hot but coogar dismiss her threat like the ranting of an ant. She then think of a way to blackmail coogar into paying her since he has deliberately gone incommunicado and made her moves on nairaland. Coogar sensing danger and the attendant repercussions equally threaten to expose her nudes, that threat brought in his foes who are adamant to make him go under if he doesn't cooperate and pay the girl off.

The humanitarian group only concern is to coerced coogar into redeeming his promise to his ex girlfriend but coogar is much concerned about his online reputation and that necessitated him employing all he has to protect the already laundered image.

Babe is hurt and what becomes of this issue would tentatively be secondary to her. Inside of her, she prays this doesn't snowball into something unmanageable but bank on her 'negotiators' to keep everything within the confine of Nairaland. Coogar can't accept being a fraudster and babe knows that because if he eventually accept, he will implicate her. Both actors are keeping sensitive information away from nairaland.

Jaybee, from the last post before my analysis, I think your hands did be tied being a turncoat at an instant just after engaging coogar. This peace deal and fence mending is rather instantaneous.

You give good analysis, miss. You definitely don't send your rent to no one and don't do as you are told. wink

Then they get the lessons they desperately need. Every painful experience is a lesson if you are a good student.

you make a good point but we should try and avoid what is called double victimization of the 'victims'. That's when the victims are advised to let the sleeping dogs lie or when they are advised not to seek any kind of recourse jjust cause they are complicit in the situation or were too dumb to realize they were being played.

I get that we should take responsibility for ourselves, but it shouldn't include over blaming ourselves cause of our flaws

You have made a very good point here. I wasn't sure if Babe3 was taking the right path because I saw more problems coming her way by taking the issue online but now that it seems that she is getting her money back, I can comfortably congratulate her. I am very happy for her even though I think that what happened to her happened for a reason.

I get that we should take responsibility for ourselves, but it shouldn't include over blaming ourselves cause of our flaws

This also is a very good point. Taking responsibility is very different from blaming oneself. It is important to understand the difference.

Yeah and the girl is nothing but an innocent victim. She had no control over what happened to her and she won't have any control if it happens to her again because when bad things happen we are helpless victims. Yeah, right.

She might not have been a victim from the things we have seen, but there have been others who were genuine victims we were hearing stories about before and Sauron disappeared.

Ask her what her part in all of this was and if she has learned her lessons. If she continues feeling like a victim, she will remain a victim forever.

offcourse she was dumb? isn't it obviuos every Coogar victim is dumb and gullible? that is obvious. She also had emotional issues then so she's not exactly perfect. we all have our flaws and weaknesses. it was tough though as she slid into depression and suicidal tendencies. I really have difficulties seeing women, who date people who behave like Coogar, as victims. What were they attracted to? To his crass, discriminating, populist, undeveloped opinions? To his curses? To the confidence everyone can fake online? The problem I have with the word victim is that it implies that these people have absolutely no responsibility in all of this when the truth is that they chose to mingle with such dubious folks.
Another problem I have with the term victim is that it implies that you have no control over what happens to you when in fact you have a lot of control. Vicitmizing people makes them helpless but the aim should be to empower them. Therefore, the question in all of this should be, what was my contribution to the problem and how can I avoid it by making better choices in the future.

When we understand why we attract pain to our lives, we can avoid it. This is empowerment.

Don't get me wrong, I am not judging them. I had to go through lots of pain to understand that it was me who is responsible for the pain and misery I attract - and once I understood it, I was free and ever since I have been attracting wonderful people and wonderful experiences to my life.

You were once 18 too and you knew how immature you were compared to you currently. Most of the confidence and discernment you are talking about comes from years of experience being treated well by good guys and possibly heartbreaks from bad guys.

Who told you he behaves like this in real life. From whats being said on this thread dont you know real life personas differ from NL persona? Abi is it not the happily married confident women on family section that some fell victim too?

If he continues this way,he may well end up like ANINI,his mentor.

You are absolutely right. This is why I consider a big age difference problematic but that is a different topic.

I will be honest, I made some very stvpid decisions when I was young and at some time in my life I realized that not every young person made such stvpid decisions and I was wondering why. I then discovered that I was a mess and from then on I tried to fix it and I did and my life changed for the better. I can't save everyone from the experience Babe3 or I went through but maybe I can inspire a person or two. If I can't, so be it, I believe that life always gives us the lesson we need.

Mindfulness. I would say any human can fall for a scam. We all have our weak points, all is needed is for the scammer to pretend to be the person you so much desire

How do you know your current BF is not a big scam just waiting to cash out big on you at a later date. Love business every human relation has its risk because you only know your own motive you dont know the other persons

You can have controls in place but there is always someone who knows the way around your security system

Read about scam, watch "American greed and see how people very intelligent and classy have fallen to scams.

Everyone can fall for a scam, it is about the length of the fall that we are blaming BABE3 for. Once she knew and did not leave, she was no more a victim.

it's the Power or the supposed Power. Power is the ultimate aphrodisiac, and supreme confidence such as the moniker Coogar exudes online is very attractive especially to young ladies because it demonstrates a kind of self mastery and power. It doesn't matter the caustic language, it's all part of the dominance. You have to give it too Coogar though, he spins it well. He can make you believe anything. There are still some here that do genuinely believe he's been set up or ganged up against. That goes to the 'talent' he has. I'm sure if Coogar were to channel his talent into something positive the sky would be the limit. BUt ALAS! we have a tragedy of a person

The ladies are already reaping what they sow when it eventually dawns on them that they have been played. That alone in itself is sufficient punishment either for their stupidity, gullibility, naivety or greed or whatever flaws got them entangled in the first place. Isn't that enough, then the society re victimizes them by making them live through their folly again while those that subject them to such misery are hailed as sharp guys grin...

Y'all saying that coogar flew to Nigeria to do his BVN are callous

First BABE has already said that Coogar is living in the UK on a 6month visa which expired since 2011

So him been an IT Contractor is pure Bullocks, who wan hire am wen he nor get visa?

Additionally he cant get a Job except all these night jobs and its really dangerous as if you are caught working without

papers you get deported and the person who hires you pays £10,000 per employee (hired without the complete papers)

So its very risky, Now while i personally believe that Coogar is an overstayer all others made complete sense because

I have seen all his conversations between BABE, Coogar, Kay and another of Coogar's friend and a conclusion has been made

that coogar would pay babe the $4000 he owes her, Hes got 2weeks.

Now my advise for coogar would be work on getting your papers, if you wan fly that 10year route as an overstayer it wont work

because na 4years u don do and UK de change their laws on a daily basis.

Wont talk much tho, Coogar and Babe na still my favourites cheesy

I just want peace for all parties and they can go their seperate ways afterall i sabi Babe before she even met coogar

and want the best for the poor girl

Babe3 hit me up, I nor too fine today e be like say Flu don hold me so i de under blanket today make we discuss

Maybe he can get Arif to fix him a Syrian passport and then head for Germany. They are taking everything. cheesy

The moniker, coogar, should be banned for life. It's been established that he is a notorious scammer. Nairaland should have zero tolerance for scammers.

From what I know about him is that he is very good at rap battles, which requires a good command of the English language.
He is also very manipulative, which means that he is good at psychology.
He is very confident (I am sure not only online or else Babe3 would have ended it sooner, which is a determining factor when it comes to success.

I believe, I am not sure, but I believe that he is someone who under different circumstances would have made it far in life by legal means.

Its a problem everywhere in the world. A 17yr old is a minor and an 18yr old is an adult. Whats the difference between the 2? few hours

I would be a pedophile for sleeping with a girl born November 21 1997 today but by tomorrow I can sleep with her legally. What has really changed about her in 24hrs? But thats the law.

You made some mistakes, others made different mistakes. Some mistakes were more costly than others. Some had protections/exposure to harm others didnt have as much
