Nigerian companies are notorious for poor quality customer service after they collect your money. Your money is not refunded when the customer finds out the product is defective. The moment money changes hands, that is it.

If you are starting a business, you need to watch out for this trap, because after gathering a client base, they will start to leave one by one, if your competitor offers better service and after sales customer service.

We need websites like http://www.consumerparliament.com for people to rate the service they get from service providers. This will keep them on their toes, as a negative review is quite damaging, and word of mouth advertising is the most potent form of advertising.

It is not enough to criticise other companies. Do not fall into the same trap when you start your own business. Apart from helping keep existing customers, the free word of mouth advertising you get will bring in more loyal customers

Good to highlight the problem; but this is certainly not true for all Nigerian companies.

A sweeping generalization does not help much.
