Help Help With Hp 6715s System by samtek(m): 4:31pm On May 21, 2009
HELLO ALL ,
I NEED HELP ON HOW TO CLEAR MY CMOS PASSWORD ON MY HP 6715s LAPTOP
THE SYSTEM HAD PROBLEM READING THE HADRDRIVE BECAUSE I HELD THE POWER
BUTTOM TO POWER IT OFF WHEN IT WAS TAKING TOO LONG TO SHUTDOWN.
WHILE I WAS TRYING TO REFORMAT IT THINKING IT WOULD SOLVE THE PROBLEM,
INSIDE THE F10 SETUP I ENTERED BIOS PASSWORD WITHOUT KNOWING AND NOW
I NEED TO CLEAR IT. A TECHNICIAN OPENED THE SYSTEM REMOVED A BATTERY THAT
HE THOUGHT IS THE CMOS, BUT THE SYSTEM IS BOOTING WITHOUT IT AND THE PROBLEM
STILL PRESIST.
PLEASE I REALLY NEED HELP ULGENTLY.

remove the bios battery & wait for about 15 mins b4 putting it back but be careful so that you dont wreck your system

or

if you are in lagos & have the receipt of your laptop, take it to reddington nigeria ltd. they'll def fix it

their address is
Redington Nigeria Ltd. 1, 22-132, Oshodi Apapa Expressway P.O. Box 3623. Isolo, Lagos
