Please what are Nigerian Muslims doing about this.. typically the response from non-Muslims is all but shock, confusion and amazement. It seems the Jihadists both home-grown and International have leveraged on the human capacity for crude non-violence and have run amoc. The silent brothers (in-arms) may offer some consolation by verbally condemning these heinous acts.. it changes or makes little impact to the current war against the world for the domination by Muslims.

It must be said, if we non-muslims cannot find a solution, definitely MUSLIMS on Nairaland should offer some solution by way of collaboration with others instead of holing-up in the Islam section discussing miracle cures for HIV using honey and spices.

According to the French RFI radio, the attack was launched by three assailants who entered the hotel with diplomatic cars.

This is the part I don't like, where 3 people will kill 170 people. We really need undercover security personnel in crowded areas.

We should please just realise that these aren't muslims. The prophet never kidnapped, terrorised, force religion on ANYBODY. We all know there we Christian crusaders terrorists in the 80s. Which came to an end, this too will come to an end.

Islam!!!

Just the other day, I met a Muslim on flight. I almost freaked. But then he immediately clarified that NOT all the Muslims are terrorists. Then, we both laughed so hard that his grenades fell out of his pocket.

If you were a Muslim, what will you do?

I am a Muslim, but i can't go to Iraq, Syria or Libya to talk to them, or even Borno for 'back yard here', talking about Boko Haram. Or you want me to get a gun too and fight them?

I will tell you what i have done: at every opportunity i condemn the acts, i speak to young Muslims, and i write about some of these things to educate. So my brother i am as helpless as you are.

Except we are deceiving ourselves, these guys all have other agenda and use the religion to authenticate themselves- they want political and economy power. No religion asks you to rape women, kill children or kill people.

That part of the Quran people misquote readily and usually read few lines not minding the sequence before the ' find them and kill them' does not allow you to kill. ITS ABOUT IF THEY ATTACK YOU AND YOU HAVE TURN THE LEFT AND RIGHT EAR.

So let's assume we don't know what to do as Muslims who can only condemn with MOUTH. Please help us, what would you do differently, afterall we are all in this togther, the bomb or bullet can not distinguish between a Muslim or a Christian.
