Umana And Ita Awak : A Failed Evil Tandem :by Umar Saleh by akstrending(m): 8:13pm On Nov 21, 2015
When a butterfly thinks himself a bird, the error will bring him to disaster.
Somebody should call Mr Ita Awak to order before he loses his sanity. His new hobby is to go on radio interviews to insult, the governor of his state, Mr. Udom Gabriel Emmanuel.
Its easy for Awak to doo so, week after week.
He cannot afford the airtime, but someone, Obong Umana Okon Umana has agreed to pay the charge, and let him do the only thing he is good at, Blackmailing and insulting people who are light years ahead of him.

The case of Ita Awak is truly pathetic, Nobody should envy a failed politician and one time Commissioner who was thrown out because he couldn't perform.
Awak was a former commissioner for information and also works, but he has no house of his own.
To survive, he must do the dirty job of scavenging for crumbs from the table of a more desperate politician, Umana Umana. He is not in bad tandem. Evil begets evil just like a pit toilet will attract flies.

Awak will feel comfortable in Umana's company. Awak is a man who was broke and begging to survive. A meeting with Chief Godswill Akpabio changed his story. Akpabio who is a known cheerful giver arranged 10million for Ita Awak to come out of distress. Today, the ungrateful Awak joins Umana, who also benefited so much from Akpabio, to call their benefactor all type of names. Ingratitude is the curse Awak is living with. That's the reason he remains a failure in life.
Awak is desperately clinging to Umana, hoping that Umana will give him opportunity to loot Akwa Ibom, if he becomes governor.

That dream is a failed dream as Mr. Udom Emmanuel remains the governor of Akwa Ibom State . I don't envy Awak, his job is a difficult one, to earn his pay, he has to insult Udom, lie against him and fabricate any allegation that make the governor look bad. That part of his job is even easy compared to the other, which is to clean up Umana Umana's battered image. Umana Umana is the most power hungry man alive in Nigeria today. After looting Akwa Ibom treasury and stockpiling billions, Umana think he can buy the Hilltop Mansion.

Civil servants know what they suffered when Umana was Secretary to State Government.
His colleagues in the State Executive Council remember him with fear.
The man behave like god when he was wielding power under Akpabio, he taught he was all and all until he fell from power. Pride usually go before a fall. Umana is desperately looking for power so he can behave like an emperor again. He wants to continue looting the state with his AEC works.

He used companies to award many contracts to himself and abandon them like the Use Ikot Ama Ama road. He employ Ita Awak to do the job of deceiving people and presenting him as a good man who cares about the common good of the people.
That's why, the fear of Udoedehe is the beginning of wisdom. Senator Udoedehe, factional leader of the All Progressives Congress in the State has exposed them.
He reveal to the people the true identity and character of Umana Umana and how he bribed APC national leaders to hijack the party.
Udoedehe accused him of involving in kidnapping and murder of some prominent Akwa Ibom people. But, till today, Umana is yet to defend himself.

Instead Ita Awak is the one making noise, insulting the Senator and lying about how good Umana is. The people of Akwa Ibom should ignore Awak.
Ita Awak blackmailed his brother Chief Chris Abasi Eyo just to become relevant. He has always been a traitor, backstabbing people and biting the fingers that feeds him.
One day and very soon, he will turn against his new leader Umana. But for now, since he is getting paid to do the dirty job, he will stay loyal. What a shameless character, who prides himself as the factional Publicity Secretary of the APC in Akwa Ibom.

In an article, "What does Ita Awak really want?" Written by one Sylvester Akwang, he made comments about Awak which I also agree is very true about the man who knows no shame and lacks character. Akwang wrote and I quote: "Talk, they say is cheap. It is even cheaper when it is issuing from an unstable and desperate mind.
And in the infantile emission of such cheap talk, the consequences or costs of are neither considered nor adjusted to be in tandem with public good. For such people, if they can hew out.

Political capital from such indiscretion, then it would have served their warped purpose.
Since former failed commissioner Ita Awak was handed down the difficult job of speaking for a party that is still clawing the Akwa Ibom earth in a bid to pitch its tent, he has thrown all cautions to the wind.
To impress his paymasters who want him to justify their colossal expenditure, “Engineer” Ita Awak has sought to build bridges where there are no rivers, make mountains out of mole hills and act more catholic than the pope. Driven, perhaps by the moral imperative to earn his pay, Awak is like a loose canon; a disaster always waiting to happen.." Who will help save this doomed mad man from himself?

How much were you paid yourself? Or are you still anticipating the payment?
