So what is your argument. We should demolish the building or take it to lagos before is classified as world class ?
My position is simple...yes he has donated a building, with normal e quipments...not world class equipment a and shouldnt be called such not deceive people that it is world class. call it what it is....a simple hospital to alleviate basic children or common diseases.

This is a welcomed development. Only if more private individuals could follow up

In a bid to give back to society through charity, over 2000 children have been provided with access to free health care.

The most anticipated news is here; Obijackson Group Of Companies have commissioned a world class children hospital (Obijackson Children Hospital) with state-of-the-art facilities.

Great!
We will need such as long as we refuse to discipline ourselves to adopt healthy lifestyle, consume nature's food and reduce the levels of pollution in our environment.
How I wish we will promote health and prevent disease, rather than building edifices which someone called 'disease palaces'.

Can the common man afford this for his children embarassed

But you're aware that qualitative healthcare isn't cheap in any part of the world. Should we, because of high cost of services not build state-of-the-art hospitals again? How then will the healthcare sector of Nigeria improve?

If this had happen in Akwa Ibom State during Akpabio's tenure, he would have invited President OBAMA & President of United Kingdom to come open the place & Advertise it on all social media including CNN.

Ds is what I expect our pastors to be doing instead of wasting poor people money on luxury tinz.... They should build cheap and affordable amenities...
but inams should go ahead and build mega dead traps like the one we have in mecca.. sycophants.. door to pastorship is wide open.

My question iss this: How does this affect an average Nigerian or poor Nigerian?

Is it's services free or very cheap for the masses,if
yes, then God bless him but if No,

You see those dignitaries there, only them kids can go to these hospitals so what is the point?

OP pls post better stuffs or better still, modify the topic to read 'Launching of world class hospitals for rich kids'
Sounds betterembarassed

Some idiots be quoting me and saying trash.

Now let me ask you,can a 'poor woman' have access to these facilities?
Can a currently jobless nurse with a 'fail' certificate work here as a nurse?

My answer is NO

Some Nigerians don't just want to upgrade their thinking faculty.

Rather than employ a doctor with a fail or unsatisfactory result in this 'world class' hospital as the OP called it,i bet you they would employ a doctor with a pass(who already has a job) and pay him based on hours.

We shouldn't be too naive to think at times and for those who quoted me and said trash because Seun created the quote button,i don't know what to say to you all.

I'm still waiting for that time when we would have money to buy our own food rather than hope on the government to give us food.
.

Must u comment? Even wen u've gat nothing 2 say.
Ur response is jst littered wt stupendous display of crass ignorance regarding health care.
1. There's nothing like failed nurse and nothing like 'doctor with a fail or unsatisfactory result' or with 'pass'
A Dr's certificate is NOT graded so u can av a Dr wt 2-1 or whatever, except u bag some distinctions wc ll b indicated (& I must tell u dat's very very rare---1 in many sets of graduands)

2. Wot I see here is a centre of excellence in paediatric practice, do dream of any paediatrician. Many so called teaching hospitals don't even available d gadgets here. Hence, it's a blessing to d whole of dat region, if not even do country @ large, irrespective of weda it's free or not (in fact I ain't expecting it to b free). Obviously som1 is thinking, & is meeting a need
