When I click on the help and support on my system, nothing happens. What is wrong? I don't feel like formatting my system because of the various software downloaded after installing the OS. I repaired the OS twice nothing happens. How do I make the help and support work without formatting my system?

dnt tear ur hair out guy. go to control panel. open administrative tools. then open services. scroll down till u see help and support. double click, then start d service. also at d other tabs and choose d tabs 4 restarting when service fails and put to restart. ok everything and try again. works now abi? see, no stress!

I finally tried your suggestion. It does not work. When I click on services, the start up type is already on automatic. Services status: started. Anyway, I clicked on restart the service for the heck of it. It did its thing. After this, I went back to the help and support and clicked on it. Still nothing happens. Any other bright idea?

there is a virus on your system. instead of formatting you can go to the restore button and restore your system to its former status before the problem started.

If this is so, then I will have to live with the problem. I have a reliable antivirus that I update almost everyday (not a free one) Avast professional. The problem started the day I installed the OS. I have never experienced such problem since I have been using MS windows. I am not sure it is a virus, if it is like I said before, I'll have to live with it.

sorry but dude you sound really rude. i was just trying to help. and i dont knw where or wat ur pc has been thru. the "normal" issue is what i tried to help you with. well final say is if you installed a pirated os well the shit aint complete. they hardly ever are. until you come across it you wont knw wats missin in them. the help files are probably missing in your install, that is if as you say it was from the day u installed u noticed

I never intended to be. How can I be rude to you when all you're trying to do is help me. I am sorry if I sounded that way. I am really pissed off at the whole issue. Talking about pirated version of MS, who buys the real Mc Coy in Nigeria except the corporate bodies. We all know we get our software either from Computer village or download them! It is the shit we of a system we live in. In the 70s no one would think of such but the parasites in Abuja have so much pulverised us that we can only afford the basic necessities. I had original copy once but that was before I retired from Conoil. Sorry to keep running on and on. I use the usual one but I am able to do MS updates. You know what I mean. I don't need to expantiate on that on the net. I've decided to forget about the issue for now. Thanks pal. Sorry once again.
