The politics in Kogi is more tribal than religious. When it comes to tribe everyone toss away their religion.

Yorubas and back door politics...coming in through back door. Igalas will resist any imposition especially a yoruba on them. There is a reason why Dino Maleye was denied the ticket .Yorubas are less than 5% of Kogi indigenes. Just as less than 5% of Igbos in Benue cannot rule Benue, just as less than 5% of Igalas in Enugu cannot rule Enugu likewise less than 5% of yorubas in Kogi can never rule Kogi.
