I don't think this thread is particularly necessary. Federalism is never coming back to Nigeria. How does anyone think that the Northerners will ever allow federal fiscal policy, resource contol and regional autonomy which are the hallmarks of federalism to return? The North are immensely benefiting from the curreny unitary system that is dragging Nigeria back into the stone ages. They need this unitary system like fish needs water and they will fight to keep it as it is. The only way back federalism is the secession of all Igbos and the minorities that agree with us, possibly into a confederation.
