Ofcourse, they can invite Mr President but he will send Kachikwu(Min of State) or a Special Adviser or even a Perm Sec represent him. Obasanjo did it(he sent an SA to respond to House summon), Yar'adua did it, Jonathan did it(he sent Diezianni) and Diezani did it(She ignored them at a point). There is nothing they can do about it!

It is the Senate's constitutional right and the right thing to do at this particular time that Nigerians spend days queuing for fuel while fake assurances continue to emerge from FG and defacto minister of petrolium. Quick quick, the Senate should call present minister of Petroleum to appear before it for questioning.

He is the minister of petroleum and should give account of what's happening in that sector. He should be invited.


Hope he won't speak the same way DANBAZZAU did in address to the prison staff? Very poor.
