that's the state , the next Dubai of Africa ,I'm proud to be an Akwa ibomite...... just because we are peaceful that's why nigerian government were cheating on us ,imagine a state that has abundant of oil & gas both onshore/offshore but its ppl live in poverty ,no refinery ,no petrochemical plant, no rail way, no good road ,no nothing , but all these things where given to our fellow oil producing states like rivers & delta in abundant ,thank God for Architect Obong Victor Attah ,thank God for GEJ who saw the injustice & said no & decided to retrieved all our oil well nigerian govt . ceded to rivers state & rated Akwa ibom a none oil producing state ,what injustice, even with our oil in rivers state our ppl are treated like aliens in port harcourt what a nation , I hate this country with passion I swear .... #VisitAkwaibom |

It was a massive celebration, the whole of Wellington Bassey way in Uyo was filled up. Mind you guys, its not in every "party/celebration" that Iyanya, etc. has to be invited. Akwa Ibom people celebrated their champions in their own way, they people sang and danced for joy. For those criticizing i don't its wrong for the Gov. to acknowledge/encourage the boys.
