The easiest and cheapest way to learn with poultry is to start small and fail forward,follow your vaccination charts. Observe the birds and their poo Avoid pouring water on the liter and if it so happens pack it immediately Do a test run with 50 birds preferably cockrels(cos they are really cheap and will be even cheaper now cos those buying for christmas rush are done buying) Use them as your learning curve expect nothing but give everything.... Most if not all hatcheries have a vaccination plan for the birds such that as you are buying they hand it over to you , it's a chart that contains the days for drugs and vaccines to be administered per time and it sometimes varies from hatchery to hatchery be sure to ask for it when you purchase your birds from whoever |
