Tanker drivers heading to Apapa petroleum depot in search for petrol have once again parked recklessly on top of major bridges in Lagos causing serious traffic gridlock. Lagos state residents leaving the mainland to the Island are having a hard time driving as the traffic is really very serious. Some residents of the state who are on twitter say they have been out of their homes since 6.15am and have not been able to leave their neighborhood at about this time.

we should ask our government wot is d curse of dis fuel scarsity in d country because we vote for change and we are yet to see d change.

It seems like the Tankers/Trailers driver are bigger than LAGOS STATE Government. both the federal goverment agencies and private sectors are held up inside the hold. i lift my house at Iyana ikpaja 5:30am get to Apapa at 9:45am. it's well even inside the water well.

I'm sure today's own was the worst traffic jam ever in Lagos state. Thank God for train and ferry. The train from Costain to Apapa was my saving grace today.
