there is a new university in edo state. Edo university, Iyamo. You dont need to choose them in jamb, as far as u got 180 upward in ur jamb, you are qualified to write their post utme. Its a state university located in etsako west. Tho the p-ume form for this year is not out yet. Buh i'm thinking of getting it as soon as it comes out

The school conducted her entrance exam last week... Students where allowed to apply with their JAMB 2015 result.. Though, the school is yet to release RESULTS bhu the management has stated dha the school will surely run a session this year like other schools.. I think sales if another post ume form for the school will be NEXT YEAR...

Well, if you went through dha first 10 pages of this thread, you'll get all dha information you need....

Some of dha guys here are also MBBS ASPIRANTS though they scored high bhu dha doesn't really matter..


Mah advise for you is..

Make sure you from Edo state before choosing AAU as a school and most importantly, MBBS AAUCOM

Make sure you ready to pay the school fees and acceptance fee ( 250+)

Make sure you have someone who's a prominent person in AAUCOM to assist you with dha admission

And lastly, follow this thread always to get updates and info..

Your jamb score isn't bad at all.. What matters now is passing dha POST UME
JAMB Score divided by 8 will be added to your POST UME SCORE to get dha aggregate ( post ume questions always fifty) cut off last year was 70 so, to be on merit, one has to score like 72+

If you can fit into or feel dha above mentioned doesn't seem any problem to you, then you good to go...

Ah doubt bro... AAU is just so corrupt.... I've a friend who wrote with me in AAU 2014, the guy applied for Mechanical engineering , he had above the cut off then bhu he wasn't offered admission.. He's from Delta anyways... All dha same sha, grace will abound ...

How much does Post UTME Exam cost?

The cost of registering for post UTME exam varies from one institution to another. Since the exam is not a unified exam, it is on the mercy of each institution in Nigeria to decide how much each student should pay for her post UTME exam.

They have been outcry in the past from students who felt that most institutions are milking them dry just by applying for post UTME exam.

From last year (2015) post UTME exam, most institutions charge students between 1000 – 5000 Naira for exam registration though there are few institutions that charge above these value.

Will my second choice university consider me for Post UTME Exam?

Many institutions only consider candidates who applied to them as a first choice option. This may be as a result of huge number of candidates that applied to the institutions and the many numbers that scored above JAMB cut-off mark.

There are other institutions that allow second choice candidates to take part in their post UTME exam. Basically it depends on each institution since they do not have a single law that guide them when it comes to internal decisions in an institution.

Can I write Post UTME Exam for a university I did not applied for?

Yes, very few institutions invite candidates who did not chose them in their JAMB application to apply for post UTME exam. It is usually some universities that have programs with little students on their list.

If I score less than my program cut-off mark in Post UTME Exam, Do I still have hopes?

Not sure if you still have hope of getting admitted in any institution in the academic year but there are other measures you can take.
