Its no longer a new thing that PepsiCo would be launching smartphone in future. Though this came as a surprise that a company as huge as Pepsi could deviate from what they do into the phone business world. As it is now, Pepsi is currently running a crowdfunding Campaign. As the phone is exclusive to Chinese market, Chinese consumers who were able to acquire the early bird promo were able to get the P1 for US$78. The campaign runs till December 3.

According to reports, The new Pepsi P1 is designed to run only on the latest Android OS installed on it. The P1 device comes with a 5.5-inch 1080p resolution display ticking on a MediaTek 1.7GHz octa-core processor with 2GB RAM, 16GB internal memory which is expandable upto 64GB with a micro SD.

And again, it comes with a 13-megapixel main camera that’s equipped with a Samsung sensor, and a 5-megapixel camera at the front.
