https://www.naij.com/646653-enugu-state-university-fires-153-lecturers.html One hundred and fifty three lectures have been fired by the authorities of the Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT), Enugu. Reportedly, no official reason was given for the exercise. The sack affected professors and readers of various departments in the university, Tribune Online reports. A statement signed by the Registrar, Leonard Khama, and released on November 23 said: “I am directed to inform you and you are hereby informed that the university is presently not positioned to employ you. “You should, therefore, hand over university property in your possession to the Head of Department. If, however, your services are required in the future by the university, you will be informed accordingly.” Cc: lalasticala |
