Okay, the reason for this thread is cos of the 'Tax advert' by some Nigerian actors for the Lagos State Government.
So, I'm thinking, unlike their counterparts abroad, Nigerian actors' fees are usually not public knowledge (not that they have to be or not), so, how does the government verify the right amount of tax they should pay?
Same thing with Nigerian musicians. They make so much money from CD sales, shows, endorsements etc. Do they pay their taxes (and correctly too).
Anybody got a clue?
