I don't agree sir. You and I know a single voice can't win in the senate. I think he's saying all these on twitter to re-awaken the youths and propel us to demand and act. If we can all demand, No Senators or Reps can easily stop it.

You just posted exactly what's on my mind. He can fight for us more effectively if he knows we are on the same page. Just read some of the comments made on the thread then you will understand why we have been suffering

Ben Bruce is attention seeker! why wont they depend on federal government when they dont have control over their resources, government should allow resources control then see if states will not be able to take care of themselves,he is talking about America where most states control their resources

We are talking about generating revenue through enterprise not states depending on the same resources and consuming them like the Federal government. We should eject this jaundiced mentality from our system. The real and ultimate resource any government has and should have is its people. They own the land and all that is on/and in it. The government's sole responsibility is to put the people to work. The worth of any country or nation are its people not its minerals. Nigeria is the way it is because it is a country filled with poor quality citizens and not because we don't have minerals underfoot.

How can this nation move forward with people like you in it? No way. When shall we look beyond the messenger and focus on the truth?

Nigeria has two options. Either to continue deceiving itself by running a primitive parasitic system of government OR go back to true federalism/regionalism.

We've said it for years that running a unitary style of government in a multicultural society is a recipe for disaster and underdevelopment.

Insanity is doing the same things over and over while expecting different results.

Fifty five years are enough for any serious minded people to build a great nation for themselves but unfortunately our primitive leaders deluded themselves into the thought that leaving our problems unaddressed will let them go away.
You nailed it.
