A tanker allegedly carrying illegally obtained diesel (bunkery) was running on very high speed in a bid to escape police checkpoint stop or detection fell along Benin-Onitcha express way at Isele Azagba this morning. The tanker fell and immediately started burning. Eye witnesses at the scene claimed that the driver escaped. Fire fighters came to the scene like ten minutes after the accident and tried to put out the fire to prevent it from spreading to the nearby SARS (Special Anti Robbery Squad) office.
